Paitin In 1796 Benedetto Elia (Paitin) purchased
a vineyard of 2 hectares in Serra Boella. 30 years later
he bought 2 more hectares of Nebbiolo and Barbera vineyards,
with a house and cellar. In 1893 his grandson Giuseppe restructured
the cellar and started to bottle Barbaresco Sorì
Paitin. After seven generations, in 1965, Secondo Pasquero
Elia boosted production by following high quality criteria.
