La Tenaglia
La Tenaglia perches atop the highest
point of the Monferrato plateau overlooking the surrounding
Piedmontese countryside just north of the town of Asti.
Delfina Quattrocolo took over this historic estate in 1981
and recently passed on the responsibility to her daughter,
Erika Nobbio. Erika's enology background and consulting
winemaker Attiglio Pagli's experience add a new professionalism
to the estate, as shown by the top awards and commentary
in prestigious wine guides. In Italy, this estate is widely
considered to produce the best wines in the Monferrato,
and we, too, are thrilled with their unique style and quality.
